Fetterman, his wife Gisele, and the other driver were all taken to the hospital after the I-70 crash. Fetterman's office said he was treated for a bruised shoulder and later released.

In a crash report from Maryland State Police, a witness said Fetterman's Chevrolet Traverse passed her "at a high rate of speed, well over the posted speed limit."

He rear-ended a Chevrolet Impala after passing the witness, just before the exit to I-68, according to the report.

No citations have been issued in the crash.
